About the project:

Urban Seeds is a mission-driven organization with several initiatives. Their main mission is to connect local people with local, nutritious food. They run the downtown Evansville farmers market called Market on Main. Nourish is their community food buying program. They also provide cooking classes and they collaborate with local nonprofits. I highly recommend trying Nourish! It really truly does make us eat more fruits and veggies!


It was so fun to work with them to create a colorful, vibrant brand that’s approachable and eye-catching as well as represents our city and the surrounding area. The mark represents, community, markets and cooking classes sprouting from the base of an ear of corn, which is very Indiana. There are wave details worked into the design as a subtle nod to the river.


We also had the opportunity to develop a website for them that connects folks to their initiatives while also featuring a local farm directory.
